Island Getaway is a 3 BR, 2 bath, 2-story townhouse in The Shipyard, a historic area in the Old Town/Truman Annex part of Key West. It was completely renovated and redecorated in December 2004. There is a new kitchen with granite countertops, new appliances and new cabinets. A new hardwood floor was installed throughout the first story. There is a backyard deck (afternoon sun), a front porch (morning sun) and a large second floor balcony (afternoon sun).
We are a two-minute, two block walk to Duval St. You are right in the middle of everything Key West has to offer: shopping, nightlife, restaurants, etc. You are also a three-minute walk to Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park/Beach (www.floridastateparks.org/forttaylor/) This Park was chosen as the #1 state park in 2005.
