Shipyard Condominiums are located in the Truman Annex Complex which is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also located less than 1 mile from one of the best beaches on the island.The Shipyard units are single level condominiums which have private courtyards on the first level or balconies on the second level. | All properties are outfitted with washer/dryer, pots,pans, towels, linens, have central air conditioning, off street parking and pool access. Pets are considered with 28+ day stay.

Heaven on Earth

Key West is the greatest place to relax!! Location is awesome, walk anywhere downtown easily. Quiet, nice pool close, 15 min. walk to beach. Only downside was cable tv was out and company never came to fix it.

Very enjoyable. The kitchen, although small, was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a vacation rental. It is clean and accommodating to 2 people. The minor things that needed attention were promptly and swiftly attended to. I would stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend this property.

We stayed here 2 weeks prior to moving into a 3 month rental in another SY condo. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. Plenty of towels available. Property is in a quiet location. The king size bed in master is only negative really. It is too big for room. No side tables. Cannot crawl in and out but for end of bed. Not for mobility challenged. Only reason I would not rebook.

When we arrived, there was water all over the bathroom floor from a leaking toilet. I called the emergency number & left a message. No response. I sent a text message. No response. I called again & was treated like I was unreasonable for asking to have the leak fixed. I was told that a plumber had been called but couldn't be there that night, Saturday. Understandable, but a response to my messages would have been nice.Had issues with the TV not working which were resolved after a couple of phone calls & a couple of days.Patio furniture was dirty. So we didn't use the patio. We went to the pool to sit outside.I felt the communications with staff were great before our stay but very lacking with issues we had during our stay.We visit Key West nearly every year. This was our first time using Compass Realty & we will not use them again.

Truman Annex 1 BR

Great location inside the Truman Annex compound with easy access to all the great sites in key west. We flew in and rented bikes for the week which is the best way to see the island. Our 1BR was the least expensive available and provided a perfect place to rest each night. It could use a bit of upgrading but had all needed amenities. Would stay again.

Amazing Vacation!

This was our 5th trip to Key West and our 3rd stay at the Shipyard Complex. We just love the location and we drive so having available parking is a must. We used the pool every day. The pool and pool area were always clean. Our condo was clean and very nice. Only issues were the bedroom had a king bed which was exactly the width of the room so you had to scoot down to the bottom of the bed to get out. That was very difficult. The bathroom was small with about a 25 watt lightbulb, very dark. The lock on the front door was extremely hard to use. The sofa bed in the tv area was extremely uncomfortable. Having said that we will be back, you will never find all the comforts of home in a rental. We ate at Clemente’s Firewood pizza several times...great pizza, meatballs and Caesar salad. Also ate at the Boat House for a great happy hour appetizer menu, Louie’s Backyard and the Hogfish! All a must!!

Nice location, everything worked as expected, furniture better than some of these reviews indicate. We did have one complaint, after arriving in the unit you find a sign warning you if you freeze the AC unit you have to pay to fix it!! Truth!! Get this, minimum setting allowed 74 degrees! This info comes to you after moving in.

Over-all it was a nice place to stay. It could use some spring cleaning. We love staying at the Truman Annex. It's convenient to everything and quiet. The blinds on the windows are pretty old and deteriorating, should be replaced.

Very nice a bedroom converted to living space and large outside living area for dining and sunbathing! Also beach chairs, umbrella and cooler for the beaches. Easy short walk to the Truman park for sunsets and away from the Covid crowds at Mallory Sq.! Also Zackary Taylor Park and beach very close.

Location wonderful condo somewhat lacking. Blinds in bedroom don’t cover window and were broken. Only 3 chairs at table. Bed too big for room! Almost impossible to get to other side. Drawer under microwave missing. Lamps and furniture woefully outdated.

Location is great if you are going to the Amphitheatre, farthest away from the Parrot in Shipyard. Had to buy little things, like coffee filters, wine opener,etc. Bed was great! TVs not HD

Recently stayed at the Alhambra from May 1 - 8th. The unit is dated but perfect. Great location, great pool, comfortable bed, great back patio! We cooked a couple of breakfasts in the unit toaster stove top all worked great. Would highly recommend!

The upstairs was very noisy. The patio is above the downstairs living room & it sounded like those above moved furniture most of the day. The parking space is too far from the unit when unloading & loading the car. The unit was nice & comfortable though.
