Shipyard Condominiums are located in the prestigious gated community of Truman Annex in Key West’s old town area. The condos are located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also ¼ mile from Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. The property is outfitted with washer/dryer, pots/pans, towels, linens, have central air conditioning, off street parking, and pool access. This corner second floor Shipyard Condo has big, beautiful French doors in the living room. They open onto both front and back balconies with views of the treetops and Old Town Key West. Away from it all has full amenities, including flat screen TV’s in the living room, both bedrooms and wireless internet access. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the guest bedroom has the option of 2 twins or a king size upon request. After a full day of taking in the island’s many wonderful experiences, come back to the comforts of home. The manicured landscaping, verdant palms, and white picket fences give the Shipyard and Truman Annex a lovely park atmosphere. All this tranquility makes it hard to imagine that Duval Street, Key West’s central artery of entertainment is only two blocks away. Both bedrooms do have flat screen TV's.

KEY WEST 2025
We loved Key West and the Truman Annex, we have stayed a t various units for 15 years at the shipyard and have enjoyed every trip. That said, we are very disappointed to learn that there will be a 28 day minimum stay in the future. This will end our relationship with Truman Annex. The unit was ok, it needed a dishwasher and some lamps did not work, also the shower doors had a big gap that allowed water to leak on the floor outside the shower. We had to mop this up when ever we took a shower. One of the slideing byfold doors was broken off its track when we arrived. Overall the unit was very nice, to bad we wont be back. --

Fantastic Location in Old Town, Key West
Clean condo. The best shower! Updated bathroom and kitchen. Nice floor plan. Perfect Location to all Key West has to offer. Great pool access nearby. Suggest window coverings in living room area. Would definitely recommend.

This unit is perfect for people looking to explore Old Town Key West while having a quiet haven to return to at the end of the day. Walking to the middle of Duval Street takes only 5 minutes. Mallory Square and The Southernmost Point are less than a 20 minute walk.

Christmas and New Year celebration Key West-style!
Away from it All is not only in a great location but also offers most everything you need for an en extended stay! The property management was great to work with-from start to finish. The property is gated and secure, updated and clean. Having a W/D was HUGE for repeat over-packers turned light-packers, like us! Highly recommend!

Great week
Only had 2 wash clothes the whole time for showering. No towels or wash clothes to do dishes. Did call and ask but never received them. Floors need to be washed. From shower to living room your feet are dirty. Would I stay here again, yes. But would request these issues to be handled prior to check in. We were able to check in early and get a few hours extra before check out. Which was hugely appreciated and made the wash cloth and floor issue not that big of an issue.

Pleasant Stay in Key West
My wife and I rented this 2BR apartment for a week. What attracted us was the pool and an easy walk to Duval St. Check in and out was extremely easy, plus we asked for a late check out and that was approved quickly. The apartment was very clean, had a full kitchen which we didn't take advantage of, except for the refrigerator. Washer & dryer was a nice surprise, which we did use. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place, easy walk to the pool and nearby restaurants and bars. Staff was very accommodating, we had an early flight and were allowed to check in early because our unit was already ready for us! We would recommend renting a golf cart or scooters to get to the beach and some other spots a little farther away. Parking is easy, we had a reserved spot.

Key West Vacation
We have stayed in the Truman Annex before. We found these units to be basic condo units. They were clean and served the purpose. If your looking for luxury, look farther within the Annex. These units are best reserved for two to three people. There is only in one basic bathroom. It does have a hair dryer so you can save some space and weight in your suitcase. There were adequate towels provided. We contacted the company and asked for wash cloths and they were promptly delivered. There are also towels for the pool as well. There are two bedroom with surprisingly comfortable beds. The kitchen is more of a kitchenette than full kitchen. We were able to cook meals and have happy hour, but counter space is non existent. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and utensils for use. There is cable with two small tv's. So if your used to big screens, prepare yourself. The Wi-Fi worked fine with no issues. If you are looking for views this unit is not for you as it is an end unit surrounded by parking lots. There are two porches with chairs to sit on. Take a short walk to a salt water pool that was always busy with people. There are plenty of lounge chairs as well as a few tables and chairs to sit at. There is a shaded area as well if you don't want to be in the sun. The complex is in a nice, quiet, gated area just two walking blocks to Duval St. For the price of a stay at a B&B in Key West you can have a nicer area and more private stay within the Truman Annex.

Comfortable not fancy
The unit was fine and equipped with the basics. Made for a comfortable stay but the unit could use to be updated. There is no dishwasher. The outdoor deck was nice. And the location is great. Close to Duval Street and Fort Zachary Taylor park. And a good value.

Away from it all was great. Location was great, clean, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Loved having the coffee maker, but had to buy filters to use it, which we left for future guests. We will definitely be interested in coming back same time next year.

corner condo with quiet neighborers
Spacious living room and kitchen. Front and back decks are nice to switch between day and night. only a set of neighbors on one side since this is a corner unit which makes it nice as well.
