Shipyard Condominiums are located in the Truman Annex Complex which is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also located 1 mile from one of the best beaches on the island, Smathers Beach. The Shipyard units are single level condominiums which have private courtyards on the first level or balconies on the second level.*Pets may be considered with 28+ day stays.

Girls Trip 2022
My girlfriend and I stayed in About Time in Key West and Loved it!! The location was perfect as we rented bikes and it had a bike rack close by. We could walk to the nightlife right on Duval St or ride our bikes anywhere we chose to during the day. The property was clean and well maintained, located on the end with a cute little patio out the back. There were plenty of towels to use for the pool or beach and for the shower as well. We would definitely consider staying her again.

Lovely deck
Located in back corner deck over looks Angela and Thomas st? We spent lots of time out on deck. The lizard was super friendly and greeted us each day! There were beach chairs and beach towels. The laundry was very helpful and kept the place tidy. Furniture in living room very cute and comfortable. There is a tv in bedrooms however we were unable to get them connected to cable in the rooms. The beds are firm. The kitchen is well stocked. Overall we would recommend.

Truman Annex
Very nice, clean. Very good location with ten minute walk to Duvall, Whitehead, and Truman Park. I walked about 4-6 miles per day. The unit is well equipped and was as advertised. Marissa from Compass Realty was awesome, and the communication great! Had no problems during stay.

Great Location and Property Manager
We rented the property to attend the Key West Songwriters Festival and the location was great! If you are planning to use the pool, it's a little bit of a walk especially if you have young children with you. The propety is adequately furnished, but honestly, we didn't spend much time there. Our only negative comment is that the outdoor electric grill didn't work very well. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Patio is great with morning sun, evening shade. We wish we could have been able ot use backyard gate onto Angela St. Our 4 star ratings below simply reflect above average. Nothing wrong, but nothing that was spectacular. We would rent again.I think our biggest and happiest surprise was the property manager. Checkin, checkout and everything in betwwen went smoothly and as expected. We had a couple of requests to the manager while we were they and they were very helpful.

Great location for walking everywhere!
The condo itself was very nice, clean, and within easy walking distance to Duval St and Mallory Square. It was located on a busy street corner though so traffic was a problem for noise. The kitchen was set up well for cooking meals. There were plenty of kitchenware and cookware. Overall it was a great place to stay if you want to be on the go.

About Time in the Truman Annex
All was good for the most part...the draw back to this unit is the location within the complex. There is A LOT of street noise!! The kitchen has well stocked as far as dishes. We love Truman Annex so we will just look for a unit located away from the street.

Delightful Time in Key West
We really loved our time in the condo at the Shipyard. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for a Key West vacation. There was a little confusion about the check-in and getting the right combination in order to lock up when we left, but we straightened that out. My only real complaint is that we weren't allowed to use our allotted parking space because of our wooden kayak on top of the car. If the kayak were an eyesore or if it protruded out beyond the parking space the rule would make more sense, but it is a beautiful, handmade kayak contained on top of the car, and people who see it admire it and ask about it. As a result, we had to scout around for a parking place in some of the sketchier areas of town and hope that car and boat would be okay. That's the only reason I'm rating it a 4 instead of 5 - the condo itself was great.

3 weeks in Paradise
We had a wonderful winter escape to Key West. We have stayed in Truman Annex many times and always been pleased. This trip was no exception. This unit is very clean & comfortable. The only issue is street noise, which can be considerable, from busses, trucks, motorcycles, etc.

Great Stay! Extra points for convenience
Got into town before 1, but rental was ready. This unit, tucked into the corner of Shipyard, had an exit to Angela street, which avoided having to go to Suthard. Very nice. Non HD Cable only demerit.

Wonderful
We drove 1300 miles and when we got out of the car, I said "please be nice!" When we opened the door, we were very happy with a beautiful place to stay for the week! Everything we needed was there! You can't beat the location for Key West, as you can walk to everything. Compass Realty was excellent to work with and were on top of everything.

About Time/Truman Annex
We truly had a great experience with Compass and were pleased with the condo! It was comfortable, and the kitchen/bathroom were spacious! Our only minor complaint about the unit is that the one bed is right agains the somewhat loud AC unit of the condo.

It was "about time" we had a good vacation
The rental was nice and roomy. The kitchen had sufficient appliances for heating up leftovers and/or if we wanted to make a meal. Everyone was friendly. We met lots of nice people at the pool. It was hot, so we were in the pool a lot and enjoyed it immensely.

About time
We enjoyed the large, shady deck at this condo. It is comfortably furnished, has a roomy bathroom with 2 sinks, and was impeccably clean. We actually have this same condo reserved in Feb ‘22, and might bring some kind of white noise machine as this condo is right on the bus route. Street noise can interfere with a good nights sleep.
