Shipyard Condominiums are located in the Truman Annex Complex which is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also located 1/4 mile from one of the best beaches on the island. The Shipyard units are single level condominiums which have private courtyards on the first level or balconies on the second level. All properties are outfitted with washer/dryer, pots & pans, towels & linens, have central air conditioning, off street parking and pool access. *Pets may be considered with a 28+ day stay

Excellent location. Beautiful deck. Comfortable bed and 's fantastic. Sitting area good.the only negatives were air conditioning ceiling vents were filthy and bedroom dresser should be taller with more drawers for storage therefore the tv would be up higher for better viewing.

Nice quiet place
The place was nice and in good repair. It was clean and a quiet location only a short walk off Duval street. Had an awesome 2nd story deck, we sat out on evert morning. Very nice place the only negative was the water in the shower ranged from Luke warm to cool

Convenient Location
Sand Crab Cabana is located in a very convenient place. Short access to the Duval St, Mallory Square, & Fort Jefferson, but far enough away from the noise.

the location is great for key west. under a half mile walk to anywhere was our joke for the week. Never heard any noise from Duval, but a simple and fast walk to the bars! Also, an easy walk to the Taylor State park which was awesome. Check in was confusing, however the detailed directions saved the day! I would stay here again when I come back to Key West

Perfect location for walking to everything. Chairs were not very comfortable, but you don't expect to hang out in your condo when in Key West. Nothing fancy. Being fussy we'd suggest a taller dresser with more drawers, lower nightstands and lose the fancy bed frame. You can't close the bedroom door with the current one.

I would go back. There were a few minor issues. The mattress was poor, no support. A couple light bulbs out. The entrance door know was very lose.

A week in Key West
The complex was beautifully landscaped, and very quiet. Others complained about the bed, but my husband and I were just fine. I loved that the closet was full of hangers. It was nice having the washer/dryer so we could do laundry before we left to come home. The bike rental shop and the free Duval Loop is 1 block away. We were so close to everything. But is was nice to leave Duval Street and walk the 2 blocks to our very quiet complex and relax.

There are lots of great places to eat within walking distance from Truman Annex. There are even more options if you can walk about a mile. Walking a mile in the August heat was a challenge though. If you are driving, parking can be a bit of a hassle. This was our first trip to Key West but I can guarantee that it won't be our last.

Greatly enjoyed our stay!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Sand Crab Cabana.
The property was exactly as shown in the pictures.
We loved enjoying our coffee on the deck in the mornings.
We were a short walk from the Waterfront Park where we
watched the sunsets in the evening.The washer/dryer
combo was very convenient. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location
Nice beachy feel in a great spot. Walk to Duval Loop shuttle, Fort Zac Beach, Mallory Square, Fausto's, China Garden, Green Parrot, Schooner Wharf, Waterfront Brewery, Pepe's, Croissant de France, Hemmingway House, Harry Truman's Little White House, Southernmost Point and all that Duval Street has to offer

Perfect location
We were here for 9 weeks and it was wonderful. Beautiful spot over looking the Waterfront Park. Close to Duval, but not too close. Very nice shower, washer/dryer and kitchen with dishwasher. King size bed is nice in this one bedroom unit. Not the fanciest, but this is Key West not Miami. We have reupped for 2022 already.

Excellent, as always
This was our 11th stay at Truman Annex, and it was, once again, a very positive experience. The Annex, is reasonably priced and very quiet (despite being only two blacks from the center of Duval Street). Ft. Zachary Taylor Beach is within walking distance, as are all Old Town Restaurants and Bars. The management staff ha always been very helpful and courteous. We highly recommend Compass Realty and Truman Annex. We hope to return for many years.
