AMAZING Location Super Clean Condo!
Our family LOVED this rental! 3 doors down from a quiet pool and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Quick walk/bike ride to the state park too. Very clean and came with lots of extras in the kitchen (spices/coffee/foil/Ziplocs). I love to cook, so the sharp knives and grill were perfect! The staff at Compass were very accommodating with our requests and questions.Our family will definitely rent this unit again.

Two couples who always wanted to experience Key West finally got their act together and booked this home for one week. The quiet location away from the Duval Street highlights was perfect. The shared pool was just a few steps from the lovely back deck. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Wonderful location and home
This was the perfect spot for two couples who had never been to Key West. The location away from the town was quiet with a short walk to the shared pool. The size of the house was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and comfortable. Nice place to enjoy the fun of Key West with the quiet of the Truman Annex.

We thought the place had been beautifully decorated. Would have preferred twin beds in one of the bedrooms.

Perfect Location
We had a wonderful time in Key West with a week long stay. Our time at 225 Southard was perfect. The location cannot be beat. We were within walking distance to most things and if not the Duval Bus Loop stop was near. It was close enough for all the Key West action but far enough away in a more quiet community. The condo was well stocked for our needs. And the pool being close was a plus. Our favorite was the outdoor patio for morning coffee. Not having a downstairs 1/2 bath would make it easier for those who were older, but we were able to manage. The upstairs front bedroom was a bit noisy due to it being close to the road but seemed to quiet down after 10pm most nights. We visited during race week and I know Southard is a direct route to the race area. Thus, increasing traffic. In the past I had heard that the gates to the annex are closed to through traffic after 10pm. Maybe this is now not the case.

What a great vacation destination!
This was our third time staying at Ascension Truman Annex. We love the unit, the layout and the location. We are seniors, yet when we come to Ascension we don't rent a car. Everything is within walking distance, or we can use the Duval Loop, free of charge. It's a nice walking City, although on this trip it was warmer than usual.we had a great time, and will probably be back again!

Truman Annex, a Quiet Oasis So Close to Everything
We loved our stay in a townhome off Southard Street in the Truman Annex. Only two issues, unit has no downstairs bathroom, pool had very little shade available and water in July very hot. Other than that, the charming, clean, quiet and well-kept spaces were exactly what he hoped for. We would definitely rent again, in a cooler month.

Really nice
Overall very nice location. A lot of activity around which we like. Only issue was pest control company showed up and entered we had no notice of this. Glad we were there don’t like someone coming in if we are not there since we have cash credit cards etc around there is no safe

Ascension Stay 3/4-3-11
We had a hard time with back door even after reading instructions. Door was just hard to close Many dust bunnies under both beds. Floors downstairs should have been cleaner

Great spot
Our vacation home from compass realty was very nice. We had two bedrooms two full baths. Great for couples that want to split the cost. All appliances and everything worked. Just great. We are close to the pool and we are also close to all the activities you want to do on DeVol Street.

Our place was very nice that we stayed in. Had everything that we needed to be able to cook for ourselves including the grill that came in very handy for a couple of dinners. The pool for this property is fabulous heated I might add just said overall great experience.

Great Key West location
The location of this condo was wonderful! Condo was very clean & comfortable. The front room’s bed was very noisy every toss & turn during the night. The back bedroom is small so kept hitting knees on the platform bed. It would be nice if the back bedroom had brighter lighting. Those aren’t deal breakers, so I would likely stay there again.

Loved our rental
Our rental in the Truman Annex was perfect! It was a beautiful condo, very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the location was awesome!! The pool, our deck and all the foliage was just beautiful! Highly recommend this place!!

Perfect!
This is the 2nd year my wife and I have stayed at Ascension. And we will book again for next year. It is a lovely, very clean, comfortable home. We don't rent any kind of vehicle when we are here since it is in such a perfect location for a walking vacation. We casually walked to the Southernmost Point (15 minutes), Mallory Square (15 minutes), Taylor State Park beach and the fort (15 minutes), the beautiful Catholic Basilica for Mass (10 minutes) and any of the wonderful restaurants which are just moments away any direction you walk. The pool is very, very close and heated. Wonderful! We went on the all day sail/snorkel/kayak adventure with Danger Charters. Awesome! We would highly recommend. We saw dolphins, a shark, barricudas, jellyfish, Man O War and many different kinds of birds. This is a most wonderful place to relax and regroup! Highly recommend!

Property was very nice. Really liked that both bedrooms had their own balcony. Would have rebooked had the owner not decided to take Jan and Feb for themselves in 2023. Great location, and very quiet, close to the pool. Overall a very nice property..

Wonderful Stay
Was the perfect location and great place to stay. 10 minutes to the beach and literally right off the main drag for restaurants, bars, shopping and groceries. The balconies in the morning were a great place to start the day. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom were on the small side but nice.My only recommendation is for a larger bed in the master. It seemed liked a small queen or double and my wife and I like our space to sleep. Compass was great and will rent from them again in the future.

Ascension's Happy Place
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Ascension! It was a warm and cozy home that was very comfortable! Walking distance to Duval Street, right outside the community pool, and close to the guard shack. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location!
This was a wonderful, comfy, clean unit with a great location! Do not rent a car. Within walking distance to beach, marina, Southernmost Point, restaurants, bars, grocery store, Truman's Little White House and the Hemingway House. We loved it so much we booked again for next year while we were there. Great vacation spot!
